Portraiture is a vital part of every photographer’s portfolio. Knowledge of lighting, posing, depth of field, aperture, lens focal length and exposure times are only a small part of the technical skills that set the professional apart from the amateur. Whether I’m shooting in the studio, outdoors, or in your home, I’m dedicated to producing a fine portrait that you can be proud of.
Some photographers prefer the control they have in a studio setting for portrait work; I enjoy the challenge of environmental and location portraiture, and I find that taking my subject away from the confines of the studio produces more natural images that better capture the spirit and personality of the subject.
